Rebecca had her cleft palate repair operation on Monday 11 May
also joined her split uvula and inserted grommets.
she was taken into theatre at 2pm and should have been back in the ward no later then 3.30/4pm
at 4.30pm someone came and saw us, she had the op and was in recovery, then started to bleed pretty bad, was taken back to surgery.
at 6.45 someone came and saw us again, and said they found the bleeding, but had to reopen the section they had already repaired, stop the bleeding then refix her cleft.
we finally got to see Rebecca at 9.15pm, she also needed a blood transfusion.
the longest 7 hours of our life.
they moved us to a high dependency ward.
ok here are the pics
just been shown to our bed and signed in to the ward.

Tuesday morning, starting to feel a litte better and a change of clothes
Tuesday afternoon Bec developed a red rash on her face, that just got worse over the day, and needed a doctor called in during the night to check it out.
the doc suspected a reaction to either the oxycodone or the antibiotics, so both were stopped.
I didnt get a photo of the rash when it was bad, but in the morning it had started to get better, so this is how it looked, just a little red, nothing like it was.
