On the day we went to the show, I got a call from the hospital saying they had a cancellation, and i can have my ankle surgery(in 4 days) so i jumped at the chance..
I did the injury in November 2010.
I had ankle lateral ligament reconstruction surgery 4 sept 2012
Before surgery
sexy moon boot - non weight bearing for 6 weeks (i am 3 weeks down)
this was on my good leg to keep the blood flowing. it felt wonderful, like a massager
1st check up - 1 week post op
I hired a knee walker/scooter to use instead of crutches
I am 3 weeks non weight bearing at the moment - 3 weeks to go...
they say i should take about 3 months to be driving again....
