my ankle surgery update.
i am 8 weeks post op. few dramas along the way but definatly on the mend.
took black boot of at 4 weeks and put on a cast - pink.
4 days later have pink cast cut of in emergency room
had a temporary back slab put on for 2 days and got a new cast - purple
6 weeks - cast was taken off and boot put back on - allowed to start weight bearing as tollerated. walking with crutches
7 and half weeks
8 weeks - totally weight bearing - walking without the aide of crutches - still wearing black boot.
the ouchie side of things.... there is a lot of live skin in there - ouch
go back to see the surgeon in 2 weeks.
