6-8 week check-up

Hello
Rebecca had her 6-8 week check-up today
the nurse was very happy with her progress.

Weight - 5380g / 11 lb 8oz (Birth 4220g / 9lb3oz)
Length - 59cms (Birth 54cms)
Head Cir - 37.7cms (Birth 36cms)


the good news - those 2 sharp pointy things we are feeling are definatly teeth, and thankfully not in any hurry to break through the gum just yet

the bad news - yes it is what has been causing her discomfort as they have moved about in her gum, and we cant do anything about it.

and dear Rebecca will remain a gummy shark for a bit longer :)

as many of you know, Rebecca was a very long awaited child, that we had tried many years to concieve.
Rebecca is our IVF miracle, and i wish to acknowledge those people that made our miracle happen.

Dr Davidson, also known as Dr D, and affectionatly known as Dr P or Dr Prick
(and has a wonderful sense of humour to accept being called a prick to his face!)

Estelle, nurse at the fertility clinic, and lady who keeps her patients sane, posing with Dr D

Today Rebecca grabbed a hold of one of her toys and started waving her hand around and was interested by the rattle noise.

Making Memories

yesterday we had a lovely time trying to get handprints of dear Rebecca.
it sure was "fun" convincing her to use a flat hand not a fist lol
it was messy, she had it on her cheeks, dummy, chest, and everywhere else that you can imagine
it took 1 bath and 1 shower to wash it all off.
